Who is the God of the Bible? His title is Elohim. We will stop at several port cities. There we will learn about the God of creation, Adam and his wife Eve, Moses, our founding fathers; Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We will discuss God’s mercy to deliver the Israelites and the crossing of the red sea. We will discover their relationship with God whom they call Jehovah. YAHWEH –LORD.
Let’s go back to the beginning. Genesis 1:1. God, Elohim, our Creator, also the Creator of heaven and earth LOVED. That word in the Hebrew language, is KHESED; which is different from the word “love” as it is used today.
God is a Spirit. All humans were created in Elohim’s image, spirit first. All humans have a spirit, soul and body. God did not program His creation to be robots. He gave us “free will”.

While all creation belongs to God, and has free will; many decided to form other religions and gods to worship; which they pledge their allegiance to. These religions are totally opposite of God’ Ten Commandments that He gave to Moses. To worship other gods is sin in the God’s sight. God separates Himself from sin. Therefore, these groups are separate from God’s people. While God Khesed them. He does not Khesed their sin and want them to repent.
The love practiced in the world is nothing but learned behavior which was initiated by the God of this world, Satan, who hates the God of all creation. Satan produced a love opposite of God which creates hate, a negative destructive effect.
There are two kinds of love:
God’s kind of LOVE – KHESED
The world’s kind of love. We discussed love in-depth and the scriptures Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and Luke 10:27.
Question? Who has shown you Khesed?
Who can you show Khesed to today? “Practice makes Perfect!”
It is recommended that upon return from our excursion that all learners take a moment to journal or document your spiritual experience and share with others to help them grow in the knowledge of God.
On our weekly movie afternoon the learners watched a film produced by Rich Christiano: End Of The Harvest. The group discussion was invigorating. It is definitely time to bring in the harvest.
When Moses took the Israelites across the Red Sea, it is said there were 3,000,000 people who pledged their allegiance to Jehovah. Today, according to Good Faith Media, there are 2,604, 381,000 who are of a faith believing population. Of that number 800,000 million and 1 billion are Protestants worldwide.
