The captain was burdened in his spirit all weekend. He sought the Lord in prayer for three days and concluded that for the upcoming excursion To Cruise With LOVE vessel would not sail to any port cities for the entire week. The crew was in agreement.
The captain met with the crew and shared several scriptures he read:
2Timothy 3:5; Mathew 15:7-9; Psalm 145:4.
To Cruise With LOVE is not an Entertainment excursion vessel. The vessel provides a different method to engage our learners. The crew is part of a nationwide Evangelistic Outreach Ministry. The goal is to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and win souls to the kingdom of God. The crew is not providing this journey for summer fun. This is a Spiritual journey to reach lost souls that may otherwise end up in Hell and on to the Lake of Fire. The crew have given up their agenda and remind all learners, via banners and items in the gift shop; Don't Follow Me – Follow Jesus!TM
Two thousand years ago Jesus established the Church. When He finished the work His Father in heaven sent Him to do, He said He was going away to prepare a place for His Church in Heaven. While He was away He left His Church to continue the work that He did (John 14:12). However, the Church cannot do the works Jesus did if they are not Born Again, according to John 3:3,5 and Romans 10: 9-10.
God is a Holy God, and He separates Himself from sin. In God’s sight all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). We discussed these scriptures last week, however, we can’t share enough that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). He took the sin that would keep us from being in a relationship with our heavenly Father on Himself. Being in a relationship also include the gift of Eternal Life, if we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior. It is the Holy Spirit who draws man into a relationship with Jesus.
If you are not in a relationship with Jesus, one must ask the question, “What Must I do To Be Saved?”
Scripture shows us the process of Salvation is to REPENT for remission of sins.
Renew your mind with the Word of God.
Grow in the knowledge of God.
Being Born Again is a serious matter. It is not about repeating a prayer after someone.
If a person is confessing to be a Born Again Believer, but does not reflect the nature of God; one must ask if that person is really a Born Again Believer. There must be Spiritual growth taking place.
A Born Again Believer must be committed and willing to be LED by the Holy Spirit; that is the only way they can renew their mind with the Word of God and grow in the knowledge of God. If the Holy Spirit is not dwelling in that person, they are not Born Again and cannot be Led or do the Work of God.
If a person is not doing the work of God, they are doing the work of the devil and being led by the devil (John 8:44). It is by Faith we are Saved (Ephesians 2:8 -9). Romans 10:17 says, Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Personal questions to ask yourself.
Am I Born Again?
Does my lifestyle reflect a godly life?
Am I reading the Holy Bible to renew my mind to God's plan for my life?
Can people see a Spiritual transformation in my lifestyle?
Is my name in the Book of Life? How do I know?
Am I fellowshipping with Spiritual minded people?
That's just a few questions to ask. Holy Spirit will help you in your growth process.
A time on the earth is soon coming whereby those who are not ready when Jesus return will be left behind on this earth. The time for those left behind will be a horrible experience for all who are inhabiting the earth. The Book of Revelation tells of the Biblical prophetic message. For the majority of people left behind, Hell and on to the Lake of Fire will be their Eternal destination (Revelation 20:15).
Another Blog will post this week to share more of what was taught, and how the group spent their time drawing into a closer relationship with Jesus.
